As well as the RYA qualifications that can be gained in Powerboating, Dinghy Sailing and Windsurfing, Carlisle Sea Cadets is also a recognised RYA Training Centre for the shore based RYA First Aid Course.

Recognised Worldwide

This course is endorsed by the RYA therefore it is recognised all around the world by millions of civilian companies so it's another qualification that cadets and staff can take away and use elsewhere.

It's Only A Day

The RYA First Aid Course is a one-day or 8 hour course normally completed at the unit on a weekend. As the Sea Cadets is a voluntary organisation we are able to offer this course at a reduced cost compared to other RYA Training Centres, the cost fo the course is normally £25 including a copy of the British Red Cross/St. John's Ambulance First Aid Manual and certificate.
